Last Show For Boro Stars At Glanford Park

We must be heading to Scunthorpe looking to bring back three points. Although there has been talk of this match being a potential banana-skin, we should be looking to dominate these games and come away with all three points.

Southgate has seen the team settle well in their first two games and now he should be looking for his players to kick on and get a good run going.

The same team that won on Saturday should start tonight at Glanford Park. Gareth has no injury worries ahead of the game meaning he can stick with a winning team although he might want to freshen the side up a little considering we have another game on Saturday at home to Doncaster Rovers.

We have sold our allocation for tonight’s game so it should be a sell-out at Glanford Park. There should be plenty to shout about tonight especially if we find the net as easy as we did on Saturday at Swansea.

The strength of our team should be able to cause the Scunthorpe defence all sorts of problems tonight. Look out for another dazzling display from Adam Johnson.

Prediction: Scunthorpe Utd 0 Middlesbrough 3

love the optimism but 0-3 is a bit much, they will get at our defence more than swansea did, but we’ll see more of the ball because s****horpe are not a footballing side like swansea, but a good end to end game i should think, boro to pip it though, its gonna be a tight game

if your lads could keep on playing like this (and assuming you folks don’t lose huth, tuncay, AJ) you lot have a great chance of winning the championship and going straight back up

We certainly can’t get too carried away. We just need to go about our business quietly and get the results we need to get to the 40 point mark by the end of December. Great to see Johnson ripping the Championship up, but I fear a few bids will come in for him in the next ten days.

Focus on the next game keep the momentum going. The big worry is losing some of these players, but we have to resist any offers otherwise it sends out all the wrong messages to the fans.
