MFC MoTM Awards Update #3

In light of Middlesbrough’s unlucky 1-0 at Chelsea on Sunday, we asked you to vote for your Boro man-of-the-match.

From now on we’ll be keeping a track of all your votes, so we can constantly have a look back at past performers and winners.

So this week’s top two, as voted for by Vital Middlesbrough, are;

2nd; Mark Schwarzer – The Aussie stopper made some decent stops to keep out the Blues and, quite frankly, to only concede one at Stamford Bridge is a decent day’s work.

1st; Stewart Downing – With a third of the votes, should we really be surprised that Stewy has picked up this week’s gong? He was the side’s main threat down the left flank, with all our attacks coming through him in one way or another.
