Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is currently weighing up a possible fourth offer for Leeds United striker Ross McCormack.

Boro are believed to have started the bidding at £1m which has since increased to £1.3m and then most recently in excess of £1.5m

However, the West Yorkshire club rejected that latest bid and instead hinted at giving McCormack an improved deal in order to end Boro’s ongoing interest.

The Scottish international is currently just twelve months into his three-year deal at Elland Road.
