With some playing 35 Premier League games in the 2016/17 season, this year’s Golden Glove battle could still take a twist or turn.
In contention for this year’s Golden Glove are Thibaut Courtois, David de Gea, Hugo Lloris, Fraser Forster, Lee Grant and Joel Robles.
However it remains possible that Petr Cech and Tom Heaton could potentially make a late run of things – but you certainly wouldn’t think it likely as that would require some unheard of end of season form from those sides.
Clearly sitting on 15 clean sheets for the campaign so far is Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris, closely followed by Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Manchester United’s David de Gea who are tied on 14.
Southampton’s Fraser Forster sits on 12 – but in terms of a late clean sheet run you would think it’s now down to those four and even then, probably only the top three as games run out.
Largely though there are enough games left for the table below to change so we’ll just have to see what happens.
