Riverside Dream Team #5 Decided

Voting has finished for the second of our 2 centre backs in the Riverside Dream Team.

David Wheater and Robert Huth received 10% of the votes between them with Gianluca Festa received 11%.

During the early stages it was looking as though Nigel Pearson would top the poll but in the end he finished second with 37%. The former Boro captain and current Leicester City manager was at the Riverside when the Boro won 2 promotions and reached 3 cup finals.

Winning the poll, just, is Gary Pallister with 42%. ‘Pally’ arrived for a set of strips from Billingham Town and went on to acheive domestic and European success with Manchester United and also played for England. Making 211 appearances and scoring 6 goals in his 2 spells, he is a worthy entrant into the Riverside Dream Team.
