Head coach Aitor Karanka believes the spirit within his Middlesbrough side will only help them win games.
It follows the Teessiders maintaining their unbeaten Premier League record in what proved a rather tame scoreless draw at West Bromwich Albion.
The result nevertheless leaves them sitting comfortably in sixth place in the table after their opening three fixtures.
“We are disciplined, but is impossible always to play in the way you like to play,” Karanka told Boro’s official website. “But we’ve learned that we can’t play below 100 percent.
“This team is in the Premier League because we have been fighting a lot for the last two-and-a-half years,” he added. “If we keep up this spirit we will win games.”
