Teenage Middlesbrough prospect Harry Chapman appears to be on the way to League One newcomers Blackburn Rovers.
The England Under-20 international has reportedly already held talks with former Boro boss Tony Mowbray at Ewood Park.
That could witness a deal being completed by the weekend, according to the Evening Gazette.
Academy graduate Chapman still has a year remaining at the Riverside and includes earlier loan spells with Barnsley and Sheffield United.
It remains to be seen if it would be another loan or a permanent deal.
