Former Middlesbrough midfielder Kevin Thomson is back training with his first senior club, Hibernian.
The 28-year-old Scot was released by the Teessiders last month having largely struggled with injuries since arriving in a £2m deal from Rangers back in July 2010.
He contacted Hibs earlier this week to ask if he could use their training facilities and manager Pat Fenlon agreed to the request.
Edinburgh-born Thomson made a dozen appearances for Boro this season and 56 in total until his early departure by mutual agreement.
