Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson reckons new striker Enrique ‘Kike’ Garcia can be a twenty-goals-a-season man at the Riverside.
The Spaniard has already struck three times in four games since arriving from Real Murcia in a £2.7m deal and much is expected of him.
“He’s good technically but he will work hard as well, he’s a willing runner, he’ll run in behind you and will press, so he looks good,” Gibson told the Evening Gazette. “With a few more training sessions and a couple more games under his belt, hopefully he could be the man who bangs in 20 goals for us.
“He’s a big lad, tall, strong, he works hard and it was important that he got a couple of goals in the [Atletico Clube de Portugal] match and hopefully the goals will keep flowing.”
